Czech Republic February 2012
Having viewed some lovely shots on flickr, I thought it would be nice to visit Prague - new country, some required planes, nice city, and a nice station to do nightshots at. What could possibly go wrong? Well, not much except it being -10 degrees centigrade in the daytime when the sun was out. Shiver!

Frozen to the core, I headed back to my hotel (the Ibis at Wenceslas Square) for food and sleep, not to mention warmth. I woke the next day to find it snowing, and spent the day travelling around Prague, sightseeing and taking the odd picture.

Once more frozen half to death, I headed back to the hotel. When I woke the next morning, there seemed to be a hazy sky but after breakfast it became clear this was somehow melting away. The previous day I'd spotted a potential lineside shot to the north of Praha Hl. N. and went off to investigate. When the sun did come out properly, I spent a pleasant hour and a half at the lineside before going to the airport where Wizz Air were booked to take me back to Luton.
