Germany Trip July 2011

A trip to Germany for some railway cranking also provided me with the opportunity to shoot some aircraft too.  There are some photos from Heathrow prior to departure, and then at Munich, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.  The railway shots are here.

A frustrating day at Frankfurt - the weather only clearing in the afternoon, and then it stayed somewhat cloudy.  The viewing terrace is wrong side for the sunshine for most of the day, but a handful of passable shots were taken.

Dusseldorf 29/07/11

The viewing terrace at Dusseldorf is excellent, and the sun (when it shines) will be in the right spot for much of the day.  Just a handful of shots taken prior to departure back to Heathrow,
