East Lancs Railway Small Engines Gala 10/04/11

On April 10th, the East Lancs Railway held a small engine gala involving a couple of kettles, 20087 and some shunters on shuttles from Bury Bolton Street.  It was a glorious day with several ales from 'The Trackside' pub on Platform 2 sampled, and although the day did degenerate into farce in the afternoon when the signaller and the shunting crew totally lost the plot, all of the required engines were scratched off, along with some unadvertised bonuses!
